Gabby Ricciardi

Gabby Ricciardi is a professional sports and lifestyle photographer currently shooting for the New York Jets, the New York Mets, and Major League Baseball (MLB).

Gabby got her start in professional photography with the New York Jets in 2018.

In 2018, Gabby worked as an Intern covering all things Jets. This included game days, practices, community events, player arrivals and many other areas, vastly shaping her early career. She also shot independent projects for notable players including Anthony Davis, Brandon Copeland and Jonothan Harris.

Since then, Gabby has continued working for the Jets as a freelance photographer. In 2019, she covered the exclusive Jets new uniform release party, as well as shot aerial stills of a Monday Night Football home game from a New Jersey State Trooper helicopter.

Gabby also worked as a Game Day Photographer for the New York Mets in their 2019 season, where she shot game days, community events, stadium and fans, events and promotions as well as other areas. She has continued working as a freelance photographer for the organization since.

In 2019, Gabby began working with the Marist College MAAC Division I Football Team as an all-access team photographer and social media manager. She was promoted to Head Photographer of the Marist Football team while maintaining a full-time undergraduate schedule as a Marist student. During her senior year in 2020, she worked as a photographer for Marist Athletics, covering 20+ Division I teams ranging from Women’s Water Polo to Men’s Rowing.

After graduating from Marist College in Poughkeepsie, New York with a B.A. in Sports Communications and Advertising, amid the coronavirus pandemic, Gabby shortly began working as an MLB Live Content Creator for the New York Yankees and New York Mets. In this position, she was able to gain experience documenting new precedents in the professional sports industry alongside one of the first organizations resuming participation in the United States following the pandemic.

Alongside her professional sports career, Gabby has experience in lifestyle, portrait, drone and real estate photography and videography. She has worked on multiple independent projects with notable brands and professional athletes.

In 2020, Gabriella’s story was featured in a special project, For The Record, an acclaimed Marist College community-wide initiative featuring 25 Marist students with inspiring and compelling stories. The story highlights her tenacity in attaining and maintaining dynamic relationships with professional sports organizations as a 21-year-old college student. You can read the story here.
